At FilterFlights, we aim to provide our customers with a transparent and traveler-friendly cancellation policy. Our updated policy ensures minimal penalties for cancellations, wherever possible. However, under certain circumstances beyond our control—such as severe weather conditions, environmental disruptions, political or social unrest, or unexpected airline operational issues—flight delays or cancellations may occur.

Changes Prior to Departure

We may need to make adjustments to your itinerary prior to the scheduled departure based on updated airline information or external factors. In such cases, we will notify you or your booking agent as soon as possible and assist with necessary changes.

If the airline cancels the flight, they may offer alternative options including new dates or routes within the same fare class and budget, where applicable. These adjustments are subject to airline policies and availability.

Passenger Options in Case of Schedule Changes

If time allows and the airline offers alternatives before departure, you may be given the following options:

  • Accept the updated itinerary, including revised timing or routing.

  • Rebook a similar trip (same class and value), which will be treated as a new booking.

  • Request a refund or compensation, if permitted under airline policy.

Please note: These options may not apply in all situations and are dependent on airline guidelines.

Refund and Compensation

We will make every effort to help you receive a refund in the event of a flight cancellation. However:

  • Refunds are subject to airline fare rules and conditions.

  • If changes or cancellations occur due to reasons beyond our control, FilterFlights cannot guarantee compensation or refunds.

  • We can assist by forwarding your case to the airline and requesting a resolution on your behalf, but the final decision lies with the airline.

Eligibility and Limitations

  • Adjustments and refunds are only applicable to adult travelers as per airline rules.

  • Special packages (such as holiday or discounted fare bundles) and some promotional tickets are usually non-refundable, unless explicitly stated.

  • A confirmation email will be sent once your cancellation request is received. However, this does not guarantee a refund—refunds are only processed after eligibility is confirmed.

Processing Time

Once a refund is approved by the airline, please allow 4 to 6 business weeks for the payment to reflect in your account, depending on the mode of payment and bank processing time.

Easy Cancellations

For your convenience, cancellations can be initiated by simply calling our booking center. Our customer care team is available to guide you through the process and assist with all documentation and follow-ups with the airline.
